There isn’t an easier way to have a quintessential northwest experience than hopping on the ferry for a daytrip to Bainbridge Island.  Even if the weather isn’t ideal, there is still plenty to do with young kids.  There are so many different ways to explore the Island, but one of the easiest things is to walk on the ferry for a half day to Winslow. 

Is it pouring rain outside? Has it been for the last 6 weeks? Is it 90 degrees outside (and inside, because you don’t have AC)? Are your kids just making you crazy and you wish you could make them run around the block 10 times to burn off all their energy?? Well, maybe it’s time for a day trip to one of the area’s indoor trampoline parks!

Is it pouring rain outside?  Is grandma visiting?  Are you in a pandemic lockdown??  Any of these scenarios can make finding an activity to do with your kids challenging.  In 2020, we were months into Coronavirus home schooling and to say I had some cabin fever was a massive understatement!  I decided a driving “field trip” to Seattle was just the activity to liven things up.
